This policy covers aeopugmill.com (the website and network dashboard) and the AEO Pugmill WordPress plugin. Both are operated by Janzen Works.
The website collects no personal data from visitors. There are no login accounts, no cookies beyond what the hosting provider sets, and no analytics scripts tracking individuals. The network dashboard displays anonymized aggregate data contributed by plugin installs — no individual site or visitor is identifiable from what is shown.
The plugin runs on your WordPress site. It does not collect data about your site's visitors. The following data handling applies:
Bot analytics (opt-in). When you enable network participation, the plugin sends one payload per day to aeopugmill.com. That payload contains:
No URLs, post content, titles, visitor IP addresses, usernames, or personally identifiable information are included. Participation is opt-in and can be disabled at any time from the plugin settings. Disabling stops all future submissions.
License validation. When a license key is entered, the plugin sends the key and your site's domain to aeopugmill.com for validation. This connection only occurs when a key is actively entered or revalidated.
AI generation. When AI generation is used (AI Connector mode), post content is sent to your chosen AI provider — Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google. No visitor data is included. Each provider's privacy policy applies to that transmission.
API key storage. API keys and license keys are encrypted at rest on your server using AES-256-CBC. They are never transmitted except to the service they authenticate.
Bot analytics data received by aeopugmill.com is retained in aggregate form. Individual daily payloads are not stored beyond the processing window needed to update the network dashboard.
